The Journey Behind the Falls takes you behind the falls to portals where you can look out and see the water coming with the force and noise of 2 million litres per second.
The Maid of the Mist is a boat ride up the to the Falls. It is a soaking good time. The mist coming off the water as it crashes to the pool below makes it hard to see the Falls themselves. It is amazing to realize that the boat is going full speed just to hold its place near the Falls so that it is not sent back down the river.
Down the Niagara River from the Falls we went on the White Water Walk. An elevator takes you 70 meters below street level into the gorge carved out by the Niagara River. There is a board walk along the Grade 5 rapids!
We also attended a 4D show called Niagara's Fury. It was a good explanation of how Niagara Falls was formed.
We absolutely loved Maid of the mist. It was a awe inspiring moment for all of us. Glad you are having a splashing good time!
